Our colour team was treated to hair colour royalty when Alyson Schoer (who is regarded as the Queen of Colouring) led an in house training day at ZUCCi. “This is one of the major training sessions for this year” said Rocco Petrucci who has also organised for Shane Henning (3 times Australian Hairdresser of the year) and Clive Alright to lead training session later this year.

Our colour team were thrilled with the techniques, insight, wealth of knowledge and inspiration shared by Alyson. We look forward to this becoming an annual event.

What a great show! our team joined forces with Biba, Xiang and True Colours for the inaugural event. The money raised from this event will be made avalible to people who have had cancer treatment and are in need of a wig.

Our team lead by Roxanne and Shakira created a stunning show which takes it inspiration from the Amish community.

A massive thank you to all the models for giving up their time, David Jones and the White Foundation for providing the clothes, Elliot Griggs music and the ZUCCi team who again have gone above and beyond in creating an amazing show.

The team at Zucci Lifestyle Salon created slick hair for this years Spring Summer 2012 fashion launch at David Jones Melbourne. The event was hosted by super model Miranda Kerr with General Manager of Fashion David Bush. Roxanne worked with Shakira, Chiara, Anne and assisted by Leigh in creating these beautiful looks.

After the last round of IHS competitions held Monday 4th July, “Kate” from our David Jones Salon placed second in Mens colouring with a very cool blonde colouring on her model Sam. I hope you enjoy the photo’s.

Congratulations to Shakira and Chiara, Zucci Hairdressing nominees for the HBIA Apprentice of the year 2011. With a support crew of Zucci team members in attendance, Shakira was named winner of this prestigious award.  

Congratulations to Roxanne on becoming the first Zucci team member to awarded this fantastic opportunity. The Australian FAME team consists of 4 team members chosen from salons Australia wide. The 4 winners are chosen from a group of 10 finalists. As a FAME team member Roanne will be mentored by Australia’s best hairdressers as well as traveling to Stockholm London, New York and Los Angeles working with some of the best hairdressers in the world including Antoinette Beeders Global Creative Director for Aveda, Mark Haynes Global creative Director Vidal Sassoon and Sally Elwin one of the best session stylists in the UK. The FAME team will also present a hair/fashion show at Salon International London.

Congratulations to both Roxanne and Shakira in being named finalists in the Aveda Colour Harmony awards 2011. We look for to Hair Expo on the12th June, where at a gala event the winners will be announced.

We had a great day at the Annual HBIA comps this year. Not only did we have a creative workout, we has some amazing success.

Congratulations to all the team who competed on the day, and a special thank-you to all the makeup artists and support team, Roxanne, Kathryn, Anne and Paolo.

“Working on this special show featuring great designers and having the show presented in this amazing space (National Gallery of Vic) is awesome” said Roxanne, Together with Shakira, styled the hair for the 15 models  in this show which was presented for the first time to fashion design students from secondary schools in Victoria.
